Christian Flights International
Christian Flights International has been providing aid and assistance to the people of Haiti for over 30 years (since 1979). They own a 6 acre campus in the city of Ranquitte (pop. 25,000), which houses a school and a medical clinic where they seek to bring solid education and safe, effective healthcare. They manage 24 wells, and will be building their 50th house this year. They have recently partnered with local farmers to train them in harvesting coffee, and have just yielded their first crop! They’re seeking to build Haiti economically, socially, and spiritually.
Currently, their largest concern remains Ranquitte. In the aftermath of the earthquake, many Haitians are leaving Port Au Prince and flooding into smaller villages, and as of now there are over 1,000 refugees that have immigrated into Ranquitte. This poses a problem. Because of the huge influx of people, the economy is becoming increasingly unstable, so financial aid is desperately needed!
