Graphic Artist

Surge Screen Printing & Embroidery is a fast growing screen printing and embroidery company specializing in high quality, trendy artwork and printing techniques and we need to expand our art department. We are looking for an experienced graphic designer available to work 30-40 hrs. per week with an in-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and how vector art works. A knowledge of color separations and simulated process separations is a plus!

Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

-Logo recreation (recreating pixel logos in vector format)

-Revisions to pre-existing artwork based on customers’ requests

-Creating Awesome original shirt designs and artwork from descriptions provided by sales staff.

-Color Separations-This will be a big part of this job

-Creating/Editing Order Forms

-Working with the Marketing/Social Media Department on special projects such as digital flyers, email blasts, ads, etc..

Requirements:

-An in-depth understanding of Adobe Illustrator is a must

-An understanding of vector art and how it is created, manipulated and used

-You must play well with others and generally be a pretty swell person

-Good communication skills
