Screen Printing FAQs

What is screen printing?

A method of apparel decoration where a piece of fabric is stretched tightly over a metal or wooden frame. Then an image is burned onto the prepared screen and the image is transferred when ink is pushed through the screen onto a garment using a squeegee.

Do you screen print in-house or is it produced by someone else?

We perform 100% of our own screen printing on-site. We have a full time production crew that carefully prints each and every garment. We do not rely on third party vendors to produce your screen printed apparel.

What are your minimum order sizes?

For a single color design, our minimum is 12 garments, for a multiple color design, our minimum is 24 garments.

Can I mix and match garments within the same order?

Absolutely! As long as the imprint color, size, and location stays the same you are welcome to have as many different types of garments as you would like.

What is your turnaround time?

From the time that we collect all necessary information (garments, quantity, sizes) we will print your order in 4 business days.

Do you offer rush services?

Yes. In most cases we can arrange rush order services.

I have never ordered shirts before, help!

No worries, just reach out to us (a contact form is at the bottom of this page). We will gladly walk you through the process.

What type of art files can you use?

A vector format file is preferred (see next question for vector format definition). If you don't have a vector format, sometimes we can make a high resolution .jpg or .png file work. Contact us if you have any questions or would like us to check to see if your file is "print ready".

What is vector format file?

Unlike JPEGs, GIFs, and BMP images, vector graphics are not made up of a grid of pixels. Instead, vector graphics are comprised of paths, which are defined by a start and end point, along with other points, curves, and angles along the way. Because vector-based images are not made up of a specific number of dots, they can be scaled to a larger size and not lose any image quality. If you blow up a raster graphic, it will look "pixelated." When you blow up a vector graphic, the edges of each object within the graphic stay smooth and clean.

I don't have any artwork to provide, can you help come up with the design?

Yes, we have a full-time in-house professional graphic design staff that can take your idea or your concept and create a custom design for you.

Do you keep my art on file if I want to reorder?

Yes, all of your artwork is securely saved on our art server and we can access it any time you would like to reorder your design.

Can you print on more than just t-shirts?

Absolutely, we have access to many apparel vendors and thousands of types of garments including sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts, pullovers, etc. Your rep can assist you in searching for exactly what you are looking for.

Do you offer t-shirt fundraisers?

Yes, our professional sales team would be happy to assist you with all of the details and help you raise as much money for your fundraiser as possible.

Will I get to see my design before the apparel is printed?

Yes, once we complete your design we will send you an art proof that shows your design and how it will look on your garments. We do not print anything without your approval.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, and all major credit cards.

Do you deliver?

Yes, and for free! We offer free delivery to all local businesses and all local schools. Wondering if your business or school is considered local? Contact us and we will let you know if you are in our delivery area.
